Planning Like A Boss
taking my time, working out a system
It’s almost the end of 2025 which means … new planner season. I pre-ordered the Rosey Life Flow Planner months ago, it arrived a few weeks ago, and I haven’t touched it until this week. Even though my fingers have been twitching to start writing in it.
But it’s quite a full on planner and I want to make sure I start off in the best way possible to make the best use of it.
To pass the time I’ve been watching planner videos which are almost, not quite, scratching the brain itch. However, I did see one recently that gave me the idea to grab my sticky note pad and write on post-its what I want to track etc and then stick them on the pages I feel most suited.

In the past I’ve been really happy with the Wonderland 222 planner, but it wasn’t quite what I wanted with regard to project planning in 2026 because I have a PhD to continue and a consultancy to get going - plus all the other aspects of my life. The Rosey Life Flow planner has not only a comprehensive year project plan but also a quarterly planning section AND a monthly planning section. So I can look at the macro picture and have space to break everything down to the micro level.
There’s also plenty of space to journal each day, which I also love as then I will have everything I do and think etc through 2026 in one place. There’s also a few extra pages at the back for lists such as my ‘whimsical’ list.
I am almost ready to make a pen mark … almost. I’ll be continuing to scribble in notebooks and on my whiteboard to ensure I get the best start possible to 2026. Between xmas and the new year is usually when I start filling things in.
I am trying so hard not to rush this.
